Many working people
nowadays face the computer while doing work. While the device has definitely
made work a lot easier and more efficient, it rarely offers any movement that
engages your entire body. Most of the time, your hands are the only things that
are moving, and the body parts that are usually stressed are your eyes and
back. This practice of constantly sitting down to do work eventually leads to a
very horrible physical condition.
This undesirable fate is easy to avoid,
however. These are a few helpful reminders to live by:
1. Sit straight on a chair
designed for desk work: There are several computer
chairs available in the market that are ergonomically designed to promote good
posture and arm position. Make sure that you are sitting properly and the chair
will help you with the rest.
2. Exercise: Stretch so that your muscles will lose all that built-up tension.
Finding a sport to enthuse yourself outside work will help your body to loosen
up and your mind to stay sharp, too.
3. Eat and drink properly: The food you put inside you will go a long way in an arduous work day.
Keeping yourself hydrated helps a lot.
4.
Have a good sleep: Sleeping at least 6.5
hours will ensure you of a productive day at work.
