Laser printers have
always been in combat against inkjet printers in offices everywhere.
Indeed, each contender has its own benefits to bring to the table,
and disadvantages that might get people to choose other products
instead. Nevertheless, here are some valid arguments on the
advantages of using a laser model than an inkjet one:
Low Cost
The simple fact is that
inkjet cartridges can cost quite a lot, and refills themselves don’t
have a hundred percent guarantee of working. Thankfully, laser
printers don’t use ink. Instead, they use toners, which are plastic
and iron particles heated or ‘fused’ into the paper itself. Sure,
toners use cartridges, too, but they don’t cost as much as
constantly having to replace an inkjet one.
Print Quality
Laser printers far
surpass almost any other type of printer when it comes to print
quality. Again, this has something to do with the fact that the text
and graphics aren’t just smeared onto the paper via a liquid, but
rather heated into place, giving you a clear, crisp look and feel
that’s unlike any other printer there is.
Less Noise
It might be of less
impact than the other two benefits given above, but laser printers
being much less noisy than other models is nevertheless an important
innovation. Who can concentrate on their job with a noisy printer
whirring around in the background? With laser printers though, this
is rarely a problem.
